Epping Police Department

PATROL OPERATIONS

The backbone of any police department is patrol.  Officers have their "boots on the ground" and patrol the community 24-hours a day.  Routinely, these officers respond to emergencies, investigate traffic collisions, enforce state laws and local ordinances.

Patrol Operations consists of nine officers, supervised by two sergeants.  There are always a sufficient amount of officers working at any given time to provide the maximum amount of patrol coverage.

The patrol officers are responsible for covering the town's 26 square miles, providing safety and security to its growing population,  protecting the town's commercial developments, and  people who patronize local retail establishments.
